@manishc Making an app just for the sake of it is bad. At the same time assuming an app cannot give advantage over a site can be wrong too.
@manishc So to cater to people visiting from mobile you again have multiple options — responsive or mobile site. Both having pros and cons.
@manishc In your case, it seems the portal is already on the web. So you can’t rule out people visiting from mobile even if u create an app.
@manishc One case u work on open platform with the full audience. Other case you rework for every platform but get full device capabilities.
@manishc You’ll have to weigh the advantages/disadvantages of web & native apps for your use-case/context and pick the one that fits better.
