In a conversation with @jimanish y’day I learned that Pondicherry is multiple disjoint patches of land — almost like islands in Tamil Nadu.
The latter was chatting with his fellow riders, and had just enough time to say “o behenchod” before being pulled over by the cops.
The former (quite dangerously) screeched to a halt has soon as he noticed the cops, turned the bike around and went back the wrong lane.
Just observed two such hilarious reaction by two wheelers — one rider without helmet and one with three riders and no helmets.
Someone please record a footage of two wheeler rider reaction when they suddenly spot traffic cops on the road and their attempt to escape.

Of course a big credit for the clean air goes to the weather. The sky’s clear and the sun is out.
I must admit, this is the cleanest post-Diwali Delhi air in recent times. And as far as I can recall the trend has been positive.
As much as I dislike the pollution in Delhi during Diwali, I also wish to fly across the city and watch the lights and the celebrations.
