#DTC topic today was sex; that this generation needs to have malai, doodh, butter to perform well “bread khaake kaise bacche paida karenge…”
Wish I were better in Haryanvi just so that I could entirely understand the casual conversations #DTC drivers/conductors have in the buses.
@kingslyj Wow, that’s some change! @zainabbawa @geohacker

@manishc Making an app just for the sake of it is bad. At the same time assuming an app cannot give advantage over a site can be wrong too.
@manishc So to cater to people visiting from mobile you again have multiple options — responsive or mobile site. Both having pros and cons.
@manishc In your case, it seems the portal is already on the web. So you can’t rule out people visiting from mobile even if u create an app.
@manishc One case u work on open platform with the full audience. Other case you rework for every platform but get full device capabilities.
@manishc You’ll have to weigh the advantages/disadvantages of web & native apps for your use-case/context and pick the one that fits better.
@manishc This debate has been going around for a long time. Boils down to web vs native apps — both have their own merits & demerits.
@manishc Am I missing something. Pages don’t matter as much as layouts do. If all 250k pages have the same layout, it ain’t a big thing.
zeldman I’m designing a line of responsive pants.
@manishc Having said that I don’t think every website has to be responsive.
@manishc By mobile layout I essentially meant responsive layout. They are no longer “the next big thing”. It’s pretty much a usual practice.
