@Paytmcare Guys, Order #822650917 says that money has been refunded to Paytm Cash. I don’t see it?! How long will this take?
@lokallobaat Slacking, yes. You know me too well. :p @DilliBelle
@lokallobaat Min payment is an incorrect phrase naa. Most drivers don’t operate for 12 hours each day. Many prefer “flexible” timings.
@lokallobaat @DilliBelle On similar lines “Surge Pricing” is an incentive for them. All tactics to keep the supply up.
@lokallobaat How updated are you on this? Earlier the thekedaar thing was there, but from experience I see indie drivers taking on.
@lokallobaat @DilliBelle It’s not a salary — it’s a conditional pay (incentive) which is paid. Ola also does the same.
@DilliBelle Many drivers work with both Uber and Ola. Some have figured that sticking with one brings peace of mind.
@DilliBelle I have questioned enough Uber / Ola drivers to be sure about this. I could be wrong, but very unlikely.
@DilliBelle Yes I know they were being paid during the Uber shut down. That wasn’t a salary, but a temporary compensation to hold them on.
@DilliBelle *drive their own cars.
@DilliBelle It’s still cheaper than Meru.
@DilliBelle Huh? No. Drivers are independent partners with Uber (unless a thekedar has hired them — rare). Most drivers own their own cars.
@DilliBelle Their pricing is unsustainably low. Surge helps drivers make money — and also a carrot to make the drivers stick with them.
